La memoria de la materia
In a remote location in the Brazilian Amazon jungle, there lives, and is beginning to unveil, a recently contacted and isolated indigenous tribe, exemplary for many reasons. They are the Zo´é Indians, a community unknown until the beginning of this century and contacted by government officials when they were in very compromised conditions for their survival as an ethnic group.
The Zo´é tribe is for us a prehistoric gift that speaks to us of how our ancestors lived and allows us to experience it personally, when any one of us can witness ancestral ways of life, which constitute an example of humanity´s prehistoric memory. Our memory, and our cultural and social DNA. The Zo´é Indigenous Territory, whose coordinates were kept secret by the federal government, strictly prohibits access to outsiders.
