We owe our name to the place where the action of one of our oldest and most esteemed projects takes place. The Orient is always a distant and almost remote land, full of mysteries and secrets to discover, where all fictions are possible…for us, that territory is cinema and audiovisuals, a place where everything fits and dreams find their way.
We like social themes, raising awareness and promoting critical thinking. We are concerned that our fictions have soul and solid scripts. Our DNA is family-oriented. We are independent and a little alternative, but it is essential for us to work on projects that excite us and connect with the audience.
Films de l’Orient is the heir of the historic brand PC TEIDE, which began its activity in 1958. It was founded by Josep Maria Forn in 1994, with solidity and a highly recognized and award-winning cinematographic career. Therefore, today we have one of the most extensive catalogs of Spanish cinema.
We believe in transversality, business collaboration, and generating our own audiovisual content. We are present in all stages of production, ensuring quality and optimal distribution, as we are particularly concerned that our content reaches the public. We aim to work only on projects that we like, without pressure, dedicating the time and attention that each one requires, because each production we participate in takes a piece of ourselves and many, many hours of our lives.
